CAF Sets New Date For Wydad Match Against Enyimba
The Confederation of African Football, CAF, has sets a new date for the Wydad Athletic Club of Morocco and Enyimba Fc match in the ongoing African Football League, AFL.
The quarter-final match was initially set to take place at Stade Mohamed V, Casablanca on Wednesday before it was shifted to on Thursday at 7:00
Pm Nigerian time.
The match was postponed due to Enyimba’s failure to make the trip to Casablanca for the game on Monday.
Players and officials of the Nigerian champions were unable to travel to Casablanca after the Moroccan authorities failed to issue a landing permit for a chattered aircraft from the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos.
The Nigerian champions lost 1-0 in the first leg.
