Elections: SDP Gov Candidate, Ajaka Expresses Concern Over Missing Result sheets in 3 LGA In Kogi State
The SDP’s Kogi state gubernatorial candidate, Muritala Ajaka, alleged that the results sheets for three central senatorial zone LGAs in the ongoing election are missing.
He commended Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC for the electoral arrangement, but had concerns about the results sheets.
He revealed this while addressing journalists after casting his vote at Idah local government area of the state.
Muritala also commended President Ahmed Bola Tinubu for keeping to his promise to provide security for voters during the election.
“We thank the President. He promised us security and we are seeing the security”
While speaking On the missing results sheets, Ajaka said, “Original result sheets for Okehi, Adavi and Okene local government areas in the central senatorial zone are missing.”
The SDP candidate alleged that INEC staff were compromising the results sheets even before the election had concluded in three LGAs.
