5 Internet Fraudsters Apprehended In Makurdi, Benue State

Five alleged internet fraudsters have been apprehended by operatives of the Makurdi Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in the Makurdi metropolis, Benue State.
The EFCC announced this development in a statement released on Thursday through their official communication channel.
According to the statement, the arrest took place on Thursday based on credible intelligence gathered regarding the suspects’ alleged involvement in various internet-related offenses.
The individuals named in the statement are Stanley Tochukwu, Desmond Tochukwu, Dennis Emeka, George Ebuka, and Arinze Odo.
During the operation, the EFCC recovered several items from the suspects, including mobile phones, a power bank, ATM cards, and a sum of cash.
The statement further mentioned that upon the conclusion of investigations, the suspects will be presented before a court of law to face charges related to their alleged offenses.
