Just In: Tinubu, Shettima, Others Arrived Ibadan For Akande At 85
The 85th birthday celebration of Chief Bisi Akande, the former acting national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), is set to have President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima in attendance.
The event is taking place at the International Conference Centre, University of Ibadan.
Notable dignitaries present at the event include Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, representing President Tinubu, and Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State, representing Vice President Shettima.
President Tinubu serves as the guest of honour, while Vice President Shettima will deliver the guest lecture.
The event also sees the presence of other esteemed guests, such as Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State, Abiodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State, and Prince Kola Adewusi, representing Ademola Adeleke of Osun State.
Further dignitaries in attendance include Chief Adebayo Adelabu, the Minister of Power, Adegboyega Oyetola, the Minister of Blue Economy, Zaccheus Adedeji, the Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Dr. Florence Adelabu, the wife of the late Oyo Governor, and Senator Fatai Buhari of Oyo North, among others.
