Working With Burna Boy Simply ‘Sick’ – Jorja Smith

British artist Jorja Smith has revealed her encounter collaborating with Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Burna Boy.

She mentioned that she was ‘sick‘ by the fact that the ‘African Giant’ singer does not write his songs but instead freestyles them.

Jorja Smith explained that Burna Boy’s creative process involves freestyling in the studio until he crafts a coherent and compelling song.

According to her, Burna Boy only freestyles in the studio “until it makes sense.”

“Working with Burna Boy is sick. He was just freestyling whatever was coming to him over and over again until it made sense,” Afrobeats Villa quoted Smith as saying.

It is noteworthy that Jorja Smith and Burna Boy have previously worked together on popular tracks such as ‘Be Honest’ and ‘Gum Body,’ featured on Burna Boy’s acclaimed 2019 album ‘African Giant.’
