Tinubu Approves Gbenga Alade As CEO Of AMCON
President Bola Tinubu has given approval for the appointment of Gbenga Alade as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria, also known as AMCON.
Ajuri Ngelale, the presidential spokesperson, shared this information in a statement released on Thursday.
Ngelale further disclosed the other members of the management team of AMCON. It was emphasized that these appointments are subject to confirmation by the Nigerian Senate.
The President has encouraged the newly appointed individuals to demonstrate unwavering dedication, professionalism, and diligence in order to improve the efficiency and transparency of AMCON’s operations.
This move aligns with the President’s commitment to cleansing the country’s financial system for increased value and to boost investor confidence in the Nigerian economy.
