BREAKING: Ondo APC Governorship Aspirant Is Dead 

A prominent governorship hopeful of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Paul Akintelure, has tragically passed away.

His spokesperson, Oladapo Akintelure, revealed that he had voiced concerns about threats to his life, both directly and indirectly, last week.

Despite his initial hopes that the threats would diminish, he lamented that the situation had escalated, particularly with the approaching APC governorship primary election scheduled for April 25.

Akintelure had reported these threats to the appropriate security agencies and was actively engaging with intelligence reports and recommendations.

Akintelure previously served as the running mate to the late Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu during the 2012 election under the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN).

A medical doctor by profession, he hailed from Igbotako in the Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State.
