‘Beyoncé Is The Queen ’ – Shakira Affirms 

Colombian singer Shakira has praised her American counterpart, Beyoncé, calling her “the queen” of pop.

She highlighted Beyoncé’s significant contributions to women of color in the US and globally, as well as to women in general.

This acknowledgement was made during the recent episode of her show, Shakira Radio Station on Apple Music.

“She [Beyoncé’] is the queen. I mean, this is just so incredible, what she does for minorities in the US and around the world, what she’s done for women of color, what she’s done for women in general. The purpose that her life and her music has, it’s undeniable and it’s of a great magnitude,” she said.

Notably, Shakira and Beyoncé previously collaborated on the popular song ‘Beautiful Liar’ in 2006.
