Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Ayra Starr has vehemently denounced the heinous murder of Idowu Christianah, a 300-level student at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB).
Report claimed that Christianah was allegedly killed by her friend, Ayomide Adeleye, who is suspected of being a serial killer.
Reacting to the tragic incident, Ayra Starr took to her official X page to condemn the brutal act and demand swift justice for the victim.
She emphasized the pressing need to address violence against women, stressing that they deserve greater protection and respect.
She wrote, “Stop killing us! Stop raping us! Women deserve better #JusticeForChristianah,’
Her outcry comes amidst an ongoing investigation, which has revealed that Adeleye, a close friend of Christianah, kidnapped, murdered, and buried her on his property.
Furthermore, it has been discovered that Adeleye was previously linked to the deaths of his ex-girlfriend and blood sister in separate incidents in 2018 and 2020.
