BREAKING: Court Remands US Rapper, Sean Diddy In Custody Over Sex Crime Charges
Famous American singer Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is facing legal issues related to federal sex trafficking and racketeering charges.
A US magistrate judge, Robyn Tarnofsky, has ordered that Diddy be detained without bail as he awaits trial after pleading not guilty.
The accusations in a 14-page federal indictment suggest he used his business empire to exploit and traffic women.
Federal prosecutors, alleged that “Diddy with help from Combs Enterprise associates, ran an enterprise that he engaged in sex trafficking, arson, forced labor or kidnapping, among other crimes.”
Some charges carry a maximum penalty of life imprisonment, and prosecutors requested his continued detention until the trial, while his defense team sought his release on a $50 million bond with home detention and electronic monitoring.
