BREAKING: Griezmann Retires From International Football
Antoine Griezmann, a highly accomplished footballer from France, has made the decision to retire from international football.
The 33-year-old forward concludes a remarkable career with the French national team, having amassed 137 appearances, scored 44 goals, and contributed 38 assists.
Griezmann played a pivotal role in France’s major achievements on the global stage, notably winning the 2018 FIFA World Cup and the 2021 UEFA Nations League.
Additionally, he claimed the Golden Boot at the 2016 UEFA European Championship.
In his farewell message posted on X on Monday, Griezmann said, “It is with a heart full of memories that I close this chapter of my life. Thank you for this magnificent tricolour adventure, and see you soon.”
His retirement signifies the conclusion of a significant chapter in French football history, as his influence and contributions have been paramount in steering the team towards success throughout the past decade.
