Griezmann played a pivotal role in France’s major achievements on the global stage, notably winning the 2018 FIFA World Cup and the 2021 UEFA Nations League.
Additionally, he claimed the Golden Boot at the 2016 UEFA European Championship.
In his farewell message posted on X on Monday, Griezmann said, “It is with a heart full of memories that I close this chapter of my life. Thank you for this magnificent tricolour adventure, and see you soon.”
