FIFA: Super Eagles Rise Up One Spot In Latest Ranking
The Super Eagles of Nigeria have climbed one spot in the latest men’s ranking released by the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) on Thursday.
This marks FIFA’s first men’s ranking update for 2025.
The West African team moved up from 44th to 43rd place globally.
Meanwhile, reigning world champions Argentina retained their top spot, with Spain, France, England, and Brazil completing the top five rankings.
However, Eric Chelle’s side dropped to sixth place in Africa.
The top five ranked African nations are Morocco, Senegal, Egypt, Algeria, and Côte d’Ivoire.
