APC Flags Fraudulent ‘Bola Tinubu Empowerment’ Messages

Nigerians have been warned by the All Progressives Congress (APC) about a fraudulent empowerment scheme falsely linked to President Bola Tinubu.
The party, through its National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka, issued a statement on Tuesday highlighting that the scam message requests banking details and promises a payout of N85,000. It also instructs recipients to call a particular phone number.
“This is a scam, and we urge members of the public to disregard the message and refrain from calling the posted number or any numbers associated with the message,” the APC stated.
The party called on security agencies to “urgently identify and bring the perpetrators to justice,” reiterating that no such empowerment scheme exists under President Tinubu’s administration.
