Osun PDP Senators Unite in Support of President Tinubu’s 2027 Presidential Ambition

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Senators representing Osun State have collectively thrown their weight behind President Bola Tinubu’s bid for a second term in the 2027 presidential election.
This unified stance was announced through a joint statement signed by Senators Kamarudeen Oyewumi (Osun West), Olubiyi Ajagunla (Osun Central), and Francis Fadahunsi (Osun East) following a Tuesday meeting.
The senators praised President Tinubu’s leadership, citing his accomplishments in governance reforms, economic stabilization, and infrastructure projects. They pointed to notable improvements in national security and a reduction in food prices as key indicators of the administration’s success.
Highlighting their solidarity, the statement affirmed, “The Osun PDP Senators’ Caucus is united and unwavering in its support. There is no internal dissent; we stand as one.” They further described their endorsement as a reflection of “deep confidence” in Tinubu’s democratic vision and ability to deliver on his promises.
The senators urged the President to continue his developmental momentum to benefit the Nigerian populace. Their endorsement arrives against a backdrop of political activities such as the postponement of Tinubu’s project inauguration in Abia State and the upcoming review of ministerial performances.
