Fight between Aisha Buhari and Yusuf Sabiu get messier, see why

The power struggle which has resulted to physical assault at the Nigerian presidential villa between the wife of the President, Aisha Buhari and Sabiu ‘Tunde’ Yusuf, the President’s influential Private Secretary and favourite nephew, is said to be getting messier as the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, has ignored the demand by the first lady to release her aides who are in custody, 24 hours after.
This is because the President’s children have declared war on Yusuf.
Sources close to the presidency disclosed that the aides were still in police custody as at earlier today.
Onyxnews Nigeria reported that the power struggle in the Presidential Villa between First Lady Aisha Buhari and Sabiu ‘Tunde’ Yusuf, the President’s Personal Assistant and nephew, has taken a different turn.
And that could undermine security at the Presidential Villa, with the President’s top security aides’ loyalty split between the opposing camps.
The Villa was thrown into confusion, Thursday night, when the First Lady accompanied by her children – Zahra, Halima and Yusuf, – took a team of policemen led by her Aide-De-Camp to forcefully face Sabiu following an earlier heated disagreement over his refusal to self-isolate after his trip to Lagos to see his wife, who had just given birth to a boy.
Sources familiar with the event said that on reaching the House 8 Guest Chalet of the President, where Sabiu live with his family, there was a misunderstanding between him and president Buhari’s wife, her children and her security aides that eventually escalated.
According to some sources, Sabiu, who appeared helpless and clearly outnumbered had to run.
The source further said information about the incident after reaching the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, on Friday morning ordered Aisha Buhari’s ADC and all the police personnel attached to her who took part in the fight and shooting arrested and detained.
