Gombe records highest cases of coronavirus, as pandemic surpasses 16000 in Nigeria

Nigeria has recorded new cases of ravaging coronavirus, as highest number are detected in Gombe state, making total cases of the pandemic surpass 16,000 in the country.
Onyxnews Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made the announcement that 403 persons tested positive for the pandemic in Nigeria, taking the total number of the viral disease to 16085 in the country.

NCDC recorded that 403 COVID-19 cases confirmed on Sunday night, 73 were detected in Gombe, Lagos-68 Kano-46 Edo-36 FCT-35 Nasarawa-31 Kaduna-17 Oyo-16 Abia-15 Delta-13 Borno-13 Plateau-8 Niger-7 Rivers-7 Enugu-6 Ogun-6 Kebbi-3 Ondo-1 Anambra-1 Imo-1.
NCDC tweeted: “403 new cases of #COVID19 Gombe-73 Lagos-68 Kano-46 Edo-36 FCT-35 Nasarawa-31 Kaduna-17 Oyo-16 Abia-15 Delta-13 Borno-13 Plateau-8 Niger-7 Rivers-7 Enugu-6 Ogun-6 Kebbi-3 Ondo-1 Anambra-1 Imo-1 16,085 confirmed 5,220 discharged 420 deaths”.
