Onyxnewsng reports that a Nigerian singer, Joshua Olonitan (Slim Joe), has died at 30 after a prolonged battle with renal failure.

His death was announced on Facebook by one of his friends and colleague, Raymond Gbaji, on 1st January.
According to reports, the musician was battling organ failure last year.
