BREAKING: Court Fixes Date For Peter Obi, Tinubu, Atiku’s Judgement
Nigerian entertainer, Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy claims the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal has fixed September 16 for judgement on the petitions challenging the victory of President Bola Tinubu.
The said date, has not been confirmed, the Tribunal, according to the Constitution, has up till Sept 16, 2023 ( which is Maximum 180 days of filing of Petitions) to deliver judgement on the petitions.
Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the February 25 election and his Labour Party, LP, counterpart, Peter Obi had filed petitions asking the Tribunal to sack Tinubu over several allegations.
Charly Boy in a post on his official X handle, urged supporters of Obi known as Obidients to get ready for the judgement.
The post reads, “OBIDIENTS ARE U Ready? Tribunal (PEPT) has announced that the judgment date for the cases involving Peter Obi and the Labour Party against Bola Tinubu, INEC, Shettima, and APC, as well as the PDP’s case of Atiku against APC, INEC, and Tinubu, is scheduled for September 16, 2023.”
