NLC President, Joe Ajaero Taken Into Custody In Imo
The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC president, Joe Ajaero was taken into custody during a protest in Owerri, Imo State.
Policemen in Owerri picked up Ajaero from the NLC State Council Secretariat and took him to an unknown location.
Recall that The Nigeria Labour Congress had pledged to mobilize its members for a general strike in Imo State starting on November 1, 2023.
On Sunday, Ajaero during a press release accused the Imo State Government of “violating the rights of the Nigerian workers in the state.”
