‘Having Money Is Boring’ – Davido
Davido, the Grammy-nominated Nigerian singer, also known as David Adeleke, expressed his dissatisfaction with the boredom that sometimes accompanies wealth.
Despite being the son of Chief Adedeji Adeleke, a billionaire businessman, Davido admitted that having his own money can leave him feeling unfulfilled.
On his X handle, (formerly Twitter) Davido lamented: “It’s boring having money by yourself.”
In response to Davido’s tweet, his manager, Asa Asika, jokingly suggested that he should share some of his wealth with him and others to alleviate his boredom.
Asika wrote: “Ah share for us na make we Dey bored together abeg.”
However, Davido countered by stating that Asika is actually wealthier than him, reluctant to part ways with his riches.
Davido replied: “Funny… u wey hold pass me.”
