American Singer, Billy Joel Diagnosed With Brain Disorder
Renowned American musician Billy Joel has been diagnosed with a brain disorder.
In a statement released by his management on Instagram on Friday, the singer announced the cancellation of all his upcoming tours.
Joel, 76, has been diagnosed with Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH), a neurological condition caused by the accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid in the skull, which places pressure on the brain.
According to his management, the worsening symptoms have begun to impact his vision, hearing, and balance, particularly following a recent performance.
“Under his doctor’s instructions, Billy is undergoing specific physical therapy and has been advised to refrain from performing during this recovery period.
“Your refund will automatically be processed back to original payment used for the purchase of the tickets”, the statement stated.
According to the reports from DAILY POST, the singer had concerts scheduled across Europe and America from April 26 to July 3.
