BREAKING: UEFA proposes postponing Euro 2020 to 2021
The Union of European Football Associations-UEFA governing body during a crisis meeting has proposed the European Championship to be postponed, to prevent the spread of coronavirus outbreak.
The Association proposes the game postponement to take place across the continent in June and July this year, until 2021.
According to AFP, a source familiar with European football’s governing body revealed this development.
This is happening with football across the continent because of the coronavirus pandemic which has led to lockdowns in many countries and border closures.
