BREAKING: Taraba State Commissioner dies

A Commissioner in Taraba state has died.

Onyxnews Nigeria understands that the Commissioner for Rural Electrification, Taraba State, Alexander Markus Senlo died after a brief ailment.

The former local government council chairman and a two-time commissioner, died in a hospital in Yola.

Similarly, this reliable online news platform reported on Sunday 5, April that Enugu State commissioner for Health, Professor Anthony Ugochukwu had died.

The renowned surgeon was reported to have died on Friday night at a leading private health facility, Memphys Hospital Enugu.

It was confirmed by the House member representing his constituency, Oji River state Constituency in the Enugu House of Assembly Hon. Jeff Mbah.

Hon. Mbah described the Surgeon as a Genius, Technocrat; “he is a great loss to both Enugu state and Nigeria.

“We are talking about a renowned Professor of Surgeon who has a lot to offer in turning around out health sector. Its a terrible blow,” Mbah said.

He revealed that the commissioner just came back from the United States and was doing fine before the sudden death.
Professor Anthony Ugochukwu has been sick from his days as Provost College of Medicine.

He later recovered and concluded his work in the College.

However, not long after he was appointed commissioner last year, the sickness returned, this time more serious.
