BREAKING: Coronavirus toll rises as 13 new cases emerged

Nigeria has recorded 13 new coronavirus cases as total number of confirmed cases in the country rises to 318 from 19 states and Abuja.
While giving the update, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Saturday night confirmed that Lagos state recorded 11 fresh cases, Delta recorded one while Kano recorded its first case.
“13 new cases of #COVID19 have been reported; 11 in Lagos, 1 in Delta & 1 in Kano As at 9:30pm 11th April there are 318 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. 70 have been discharged with 10 deaths There are 19 states with confirmed cases in Nigeria” NCDC Tweeted.
Meanwhile, the Federal Capital Territory Administration on Saturday said that four coronavirus patients have been discharged.
The FCT administration announced that the coronavirus patients were discharged after testing negative from Gwagwalada Isolation Centre, Abuja, FCT.
The FCTA made this announcement via its micro-blogging site, Twitter.
It tweeted: “The FCTA has confirmed the discharge of four #COVID-19 patients, bringing the total number of discharged to 11 in the FCT as at 12.30am, April 11th, 2020.”
On the other hand, Lagos State Government has announced the discharge of seven more COVID-19 patients on Friday.
This was announced by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu via his official Twitter handle.
He tweeted: “Today, seven more patients comprising of 3 females and four males were discharged to reconnect with thier families after a full recovery and having tested negative twice consecutively for COVID-19.”
Not long after seven patients were discharged, four recovered patients were discharged in Lagos.
Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu announced the development through his official Twitter handle.
He tweeted that,
4 more patients; all male, including an 11 year old boy have been discharged from the Lagos State Isolation facilities.
Analysing the discharge of the four patients, the governor added that the patients included; 3 from IDH, Yaba and 1 from the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) were discharged having recovered fully and tested negative twice for #COVID19.
