Alaafin’s wife, Queen Ola, KWAM 1 break silence over alleged love affair
One of Alaafin of Oyo’s youngest wives, Olori Badirat Ola Adeyemi has spoken about an allegation of a love affair with Fuji legend, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal (KWAM 1).
Several reports had said that on Wednesday Olori Ola had been sent out of the place by the king, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi II after he learnt about the alleged affair with KWAM 1.
The queen described the allegation as fake news.
She pointed out Dublin-based blogger, Esther Aboderin known as Esabod as the originator of the allegation.
She referred to a Facebook live conversation she had with the President of Egbe Omo Oyo Alaafin, Aare Almaroof Bobagunwa.
In the live video, Queen Ola said she heard of the rumour some weeks back.
“Someone forwarded me a link to a YouTube video by Esabod where she claimed I was having an affair with KWAM 1. Until that day, I have never heard of the woman before.
“I was told the woman is controversial and that is how she writes hurtful, untrue things about people. In the video, she said she knew that the singer would come for me after the King made him the Mayegun of Yoruba land.”
“If this allegation is true, may all the deities in the palace strike me down. If it is false, may all the curses be transferred to Madam Esabod and her children,” she said.
KWAM1, on the other hand reacting to the news, on Thursday posted a clip of one of his stage performances on his Instagram page, throwing a subtle nudge at the source of the allegation.
In the mean time, one of the Fuji Legend’s sons, Femi Ayinde Marshall has threatened a lawsuit against the online publication that broke the news.
“Make sure your source is not dead, while at that be sure to have alot of money,” he tweeted.
