BREAKING: Another popular monarch in Kano is dead

The District head of Dawaki kudu Local Government Area and the Dan’iya of Kano, Alhaji Yusuf Bayero, is dead.
Onyxnews Nigeria gathered that the monarch died on Saturday night in Kano. And he will be buried today Sunday May 10 according to Islamic rites
The 87 year old monarch was the district head of Dawakin Kudu Local Government Area.
This reliable online news platform learnt that Bayero was the first district head in Ajingi Local Government Area in the history of Kano state.
Bayero’s death comes amidst the much death that have been recorded in the Northern state of Nigeria.
Meanwhile, many prominent indigenes have lost their lives between April and May 2020. And the lost lives include Emir of Rano and well known professors.
At the same time, the Kano State Government has confirmed 29 new cases of coronavirus in the state. The state also recorded three new COVID-19 related deaths on Saturday.
The Northern State government made this public via its Ministry of Health on Sunday morning, May 10 2020, via Twitter.
This brings the total number of cases recorded in the state to 576.
KSMOH tweeted, “29 new cases of #COVID19Kano cases confirmed. Total confirmed cases in @KanostateNg are now 576.
“10 more #COVID19Kano patients were discharged from our Isolation Facility to reunite with their family and society. Total discharged now 32. “3 #COVID19Kano deaths were recorded.”
The state currently has 523 active cases of the pandemic disease.
