In less than 24 hours, Emir of Rano in Kano died, another Emir died, this time its the Emir of Kaura Namoda, in Zamfara State.

Emir of Kaura Namoda, Ahmad Muhammad Asha also known as Sarkin Kiyawan Kaura Namoda is dead.

The monarch died earlier on Sunday May 3 2020 at the age of 71.

Emir of Kaura cause of death

Onyxnews Nigeria reports that the Emir’s younger brother, Abdulkarim Ahmad Asha, the Dan Jekan Kaura Namoda, confirmed the Emir’s death, saying the Emir had suffered diabetes and hypertension for a long time.

According to Abdulkarim, “He spent like four days in his palace responding to treatment when the illnesses struck again.”

“Later he was taken to Yariman Bakura Specialists Hospital where he died after three days of admission,” Abdulkarim added.

The brother to the deceased explained that: “He worked as Director of Finance and Treasurer in many local government areas of the state including Kaura Namoda, Gusau and Maru before he was appointed as Emir in 2004.

“He is survived by three wives and 11 children among his children is Sanusi Muhsurviveda of the Nigerian Army currently serving in Maiduguri, Borno state.

“Preparation for his funeral rite is underway and he will be buried in his home town of Kaura Namoda according to Islamic rite,” Abdulkarim said.

Just yesterday, this reliable online news platform reported that Emir of Rano in Kano State, Alhaji Tafida Abubakar Ila Auta Bawo died.

The traditional ruler died yesterday at a hospital in Kano.

Turakin Rano and House of Representatives member representing Rano, Kibiya, and Bunkure Federal Constituency, Alhaji Kabir Alhassan Rururm, confirmed Emir of Rano’s death.

The demised emir was buried in the evening of Saturday, April 2 in the emirate.
