APC Deputy National Secretary declares self as National Chairman, cancels Edo screening

The Deputy National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Victor Giadom, has taken over as the party’s acting National Chairman.
Giadom had in a statement by his counsel, Wole Afolabi on Tuesday, said that he is the real acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, (APC), following a ruling of the FCT High Court which upheld Oshiomhole’s suspension and declared all his actions since his suspension, null and void.
APC National Publicity Secretary, Lanre Isa-Onilu, had announced ailing Senator Abiola Ajimobi as the acting national chairman, being the deputy national chairman (South).
At the same time, Victor Giadom, has cancelled the screening for the Edo State governorship primary.
Giadom stressed that he has taken over based on a previous court order gave him power to do so.
According to him, he has the backing of party’s National Working Committee (NWC)’s member.
