Buhari names train stations after Osibanjo, Tinubu, others (Full list)
President Muhammadu Buhari has named train stations after Vice president Yemi Osibanjo, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Babatunde Fashola and others.
The train stations are located along the Lagos-Ibadan and the Itakpe-Ajaokuta-Warri corridors after well known personalities.
According to the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, he has said the train stations are named after “deserving Nigerians.”
A presidency aide, Tolu Ogunlesi, revealed this on Monday on micro-blogging site, Twitter.
He said, the Apapa station was named after Bola Ahmed Tinubu, while the Agege station was named after the Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola.
Other personalities honoured with train station names are: Lateef Jakande (Agbado station), Vice President Yemi Osinbajo (Kajola station), and Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti (Papalanto station).’

Early last month, the President had approved the naming of the Railway Complex in Agbor after former President Goodluck Jonathan.
The Railway Complex is the operational hub of the Itakpe-Warri line.
