Onyxnews Nigeria reports that Nigeria has recorded new cases of deadly coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the total number of the disease confirmed in the country is now 40,532.
This reliable online news platform also reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made it public that 555 new cases of the pandemic infection have been detected in Nigeria, making all cases of the disease 40,532 in the country, with 17,374 discharged cases and 858 deaths.
Onyxnews Nigeria understands that the NCDC confirmed 555 new cases of COVID-19 via the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Sunday night, July 27 2020.
NCDC recorded that with 555 COVID-19 cases confirmed on Sunday night, Lagos detected 165, Kano-65 Ogun-57 Plateau-54 Oyo-53 Benue-43 FCT-30 Ondo-18 Kaduna-16 Akwa Ibom-13 Gombe-13 Rivers-12 Ekiti-9 Osun-8 Cross River-3 Borno-2 Edo-2 Bayelsa-1 respectively.
