Full list: NIMASA promotes more than 400 staff

NIMASA has approved the promotion of nine directors.
The Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency’s Board promoted more than 400 staff.
OnyxNews Nigeria gathered that the board meeting led by the chairman, Asita O. Asita, approved the promotion.
A breakdown shows that nine Deputy Directors were promoted to substantive Directors on Grade Level 17.
Forty-five (45) Assistant Directors were promoted to Deputy Directors; 71 Grade Level 14 officers were elevated to Assistant Directors.
The new directors are the Head, ISPS Unit, Jidda Aishatu; Head, Marine Accident Investigation Unit, Egbuche Rita; Head, Eastern Zone, Audu Sani; Head, Internal Audit, Olamide Odusanya; Head, HSE Unit, Anselm Nwanze.
Others include Head, Legal Services Unit, Egejuru Victor; Head, SERVICOM, Bolaji Kehinde; Head, Reform Coordination Unit, Kabiru Murnai; and Head, Marine Environment Management Department, Felicia Mogo.
NIMASA spokesman, Phillip Kyanet, is among the newly promoted Deputy Directors.
The Director-General, Bashir Jamoh, charged them to bring their wealth of knowledge and experience to bear on their new positions.
