Due to these rules, a candidate can win the election without getting the most votes at the national level. This happened at the last election, in which Donald Trump won a majority of electoral college votes although more people voted for Hillary Clinton across the United States.

Biden got 264 electoral votes on Thursday, showing that he needs six electoral votes to meet the needed 270 to win the 2020 presidential election in the United States of America while Trump, on the other hand, has just 214 electoral votes.

Joe Biden who has the confidence of winning the US Presidential elections, vowed in a video that has already gone viral on the internet, that when he becomes president, he will treat Muslims in America equally.
