President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Muhammed Zannah Ibrahim as the acting Inspector General of Police.

Newly appointed Acting Inspector General of Police, Muhammed Zannah Ibrahim.
OnyxNews Nigeria reports that his appointment followed the retirement of Adamu Mohammed Abubakar, on Monday February 1st 2021.

Adamu, a member of the ASP Cadet Course 14, is due to retire on account of service years. The IGP clocks 35 years in service on Monday, having enlisted in the Police Force on February 1, 1986.
