Bayelsa State Governor Reshuffles Cabinet Six Months After Appointment

OnyxNews Nigeria reports that the Bayelsa State, Governor, Mr Douye Diri, has carried out what is called a minor reshuffling of cabinet.
This he did after six months he appointed commissioners.
The Bayelsa Governor’s decision was made public on Wednesday, February 3rd 2021 during the 22nd State Executive Council Meeting, at the Government House, Yenagoa.
In the exercise, the state Commissioner for Labour and Employment, Mr Federal Otokito, was redeployed to the Ministry of Trade and Investment, while his counterpart in charge of that ministry, Mr Stanley Braboke, was moved to Labour and Employment.

Diri stressed that the change was made in the interest of the state, urging the council members to always remember they were appointed to serve the people.
“The Honourable Commissioner for Trade and Investment is, hereby, redeployed to the Ministry of Labour and Employment. In the same vein, the Honourable Commissioner for Labour and Employment is, hereby, redeployed to the Ministry of Trade and Investment,” he said.
