BREAKING: How Aisha Yesufu Hit Buhari Over Medical Trip

How Aisha Yesufu Hit Buhari Over Medical Trip.
OnyxNews Nigeria reports that the popular human rights activist and co-convener of the Bring Back Our Girls Movement, Aisha Yesufu has hit out at Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari over the president trip out of the country in order to undergo a routine medical checkup in London, the United Kingdom, on Tuesday March 30, 2021, for a routine medical check-up.
The Senior Special Assistant, Media and Publicity to the President, Garba Shehu had disclosed the development on his verified Twitter handle via series of tweets. He had tweeted saying: “President Muhammadu Buhari proceeds to London, the United Kingdom, Tuesday March 30, 2021, for a routine medical check-up. The President meets with Security Chiefs first in the morning, after which he embarks on the journey. He is due back in the country during the second week of April, 2021.”
Reacting to this, Yesufu blasted President Muhammadu Buhari for not being able to build the healthcare sector of the country to a standard that can take care of his own needs, especially in light of the amount of years the president has spent as the president of the country.

While reacting on her verified Twitter handle, she had tweeted saying: “Truly small minded mentality! Almost 6 years in office and he has not been able to build the healthcare sector to a standard he can take care of even his health. Not even one hospital for his own needs. What can be more selfish than one who isn’t there for even his needs!”
Recall that President Muhammadu Buhari prior to his being elected as Nigerian President had promised to put an end to medical tourism in the country. A vow he failed to keep as he went for medical treatments and check ups on several occasions, especially before the COVID-19 pandemic.
