Soludo Stepped Down, PDP Removed As INEC Releases Anambra Governorship List

Anambra governorship list has been released by INEC.

Onyxnewsng reports that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released the list of candidates for Anambra governorship election planned to take hold on November 6, 2021, with the name of Prof. Chukwuma Soludo of  the All Progressives Grand Alliance [APGA] missing.

This online news platform understands that INEC also skipped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on the list of cleared candidates for the November 6 Anambra governorship election.

This means that Valentine Ozigbo who was PDP candidate for the election has been dropped from the Anambra governorship list.

INEC in a statement while givinh reason by its National Commissioner and Chairman Information and Voter Education Committee, Festus Okoye, cited Court Order for exclusion of the party’s candidate from the cleared list.
