Npower: Aide to Buhari’s Minister Reportedly Diverts Funds Meant for Npower Batch C Payment
In today’s latest Npower News, an aide to Buhari’s Minister is said to have diverted funds meant for Npower Batch C Payment.
Npower Batch C beneficiaries are currently being paid for October, November, and December stipends.
The Minister for Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouq, has refused to give any reason for her refusal to pay the three months’ salaries due to Npower Batch C beneficiaries.
Following her silence over the reason behind the delay in payment of October, November, and December stipends to Npower Batch C beneficiaries, a news report said that her aide, identified as Nneka Ikem Anibeze, has diverted funds meant for Npower Batch C Payment.
The source said the intention is for the funds to generate interest before they are used for the beneficiaries.
The post reads; N-POWER FRAUDSTER IDENTITY EXPOSED Dear N-Power Batch C (Stream 1) Beneficiaries.
The individual, Nneka Ikem Anibeze whose identity is being published here and who is also the handler of the bogus Nasimsng page has been officially relieved of her duty (sacked) by the federal ministry following countless petitions against the culprit for diversion of N-Power funds meant for the settlement of beneficiaries who have worked for the months of October, November and December without due payments.
Haven received all your complaints concerning the payment scandal, the National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS), together with the intelligent team were able to swing into action. We advise beneficiaries to remain calm, while waiting for our next line of action in the near future. Keep your accounts validated.”
The office of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development, headed by Sadiya Umar Farouq, reacting to the post, debunked the information that her aides diverted funds meant for Npower Batch C Payment for personal use or for profit-making. Despite her denial of the report, she has refused to explain why her minister has refused to pay Npower Batch C stipends for October, November, and December, despite the fact that they were included in the 2021 Budget.
NASIMS Reveals Cause Of Delay In October And November Npower Stipends
NASIMS management said; “The Facebook Page nasims.gov.ng is a fraudulent page created by mischievous person/s, and is not associated with FMHADMSD or NASIMS (www.nasims.gov.ng).
Please ignore all posts emanating from this page. Thank you.”
