Watch Moment Bus Ram Into Moving Train In Lagos (Video)
A disaster that could have led to loss of lives has been swiftly and promptly averted by the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency as its responded to a train accident at Ilupeju Bye-pass, Ilupeju, on Tuesday, May 10.
Upon the arrival of the Response Team at the scene, it was observed that a Toyota Hiace bus with registration number EKY 888 XW and a train had a collision at the aforementioned address.
Onyxnewsng gathered that cause of the incident according to reports was due to the reckless driving of the bus driver.
More information revealed that all vehicles were stopped at the railway crossing but the driver refused to obey the traffic officers at the scene thereby ramming into the moving train.
This online news platform also gathered that there was no loss of lives but two people (men) sustained injury and were administered First aid treatment by the Agency’s Paramedics before being taken to the General hospital for further medical attention.
The bus was recovered off the railway with the aid of the Agency’s light tow truck and was taken to Railway Police Station, Mushin, thereby restoring the rail track to normalcy.
