Nollywood Actor, Okon Lagos Decides To Sell His Vote, Gives Reason
A Nigerian Nollywood actor and comedian, Ime Bishop Umoh popularly known as Okon Lagos, has surprised his fans including many patriotic citizens saying he would sell his vote for 1,460,000 during the 2023 election.
According to Okon, the constant kicking against selling one’s votes does not concern him as his vote is for sale, vowing to sell it at the right price, but for an exorbitant price.
“Don’t sell your vote no concern me because I have my PVC and I will sell my vote. I will sell it and at the right price. A very considerate and generous price because of you.”
“This politicians appear in your life once in every four years and come and buy votes in polling unit and disappear. My vote I will sell and I will give my vote at a giveaway price at 1,000 dollars a day.”
“There are 365 days in a year multiplied by 4 years that makes it 1460 days. 1000 dollars times 1460 is 1,460,000. That is my price for selling my vote for 4 years.”
Earlier, Okon had mocked people involved in cybercrimes and corrupt politicians, saying that the internet fraudsters are joy killers and not heroic as they sweep away people’s life savings to acquire a luxurious car and lavish money on drinks in the club, which has driven poor and lower-middle-class people to depression, as they do not steal from the rich.
OKon also noted that the politicians who steal the collective wealth of the poor people were in no way different from those aforementioned, as they were elected for their respective positions to carry out their rightful duties.
