JUST IN: NECO Speaks On 2022 Examination Postponement
The National Examination Council has announced that the 2022 Senior School Certificate Examination for school-based candidates will commence on Monday, June 27, 2022, contrary to speculations suggesting that the examination has been postponed to a later date.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Head of Information and Public Relations Division of the council, Azeez Sani, and made available to our correspondent in Minna on Saturday.
Sani enjoined stakeholders to disregard speculations suggesting the postponement of the examination to a later date.
“State Ministries of Education, Principals, Commandants and all stakeholders are enjoined to disregard any speculation on the alleged postponement of the examination,” the statement read.
The head of information also stated that measures to ensure a seamless conduct of the examination has been put in place.
FG Releases NECO Common Entrance Results
“The Council has put all necessary measures in place to ensure a seamless conduct of the 2022 Senior School Certificate Examination.”
The statement further revealed that the school-based examination ends on the August 12, 2022.
“The 2022 NECO Senior School Certificate Examination will end on Friday, 12th August, 2022,” it read.
