BREAKING: ASUU Order Lecturers To Stay At Home Indefinitely
University of Jos Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU has ordered lecturers to stay at home indefinitely pending the payment of withheld salaries.
Recall the national leadership of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has vowed to take appropriate steps regarding the payment of half salary to the members by the federal government of Nigeria.
The National President, Prof. Emmanuel Osodeke, made this known on Thursday, when reacting to the payment of half salary by the government to his members who last October just called off their eight months strike.
ASUU Gombe state university has threaten to withhold the results of students and won’t supervise projects of undergraduates and postgraduates until withheld salaries are paid.
