BREAKING: FCMB Founder Dies In London (Photo)
Founder of First City Monument Bank, FCMB, Otunba Michael Subomi Balogun is dead.
He reportedly died at age 89 in a London hospital after a brief illness.
Details surrounding his death remain sketchy.
A direct descendant of Oba Tunwase of ljebu-Ode, Otunba Balogun until his death held the chieftaincy titles Otunba Tunwase of Ijebuland,Olori Omoba of Ijebuland and the Asiwaju of ljebu Christians.
A philanthropist, Otunba Balogun, built a National Pediatric Centre in ljebu-Ode that he donated to the University of Ibadan’s University College Teaching Hospital.
