FG Files Fresh 20-Count Charge Against Emefiele

Onyxnewsng reports that the federal government of Nigeria has filed a fresh 20-count charge against the suspended governor of the central bank of Nigeria(CBN), Mr. Godwin Emefiele.

According to the director of public prosecution at the federal ministry of justice, Mr. Mohammed Abubakar, one of fresh charges accuses Emefiele of ‘Conferring Unlawful Advantages’.

Abubakar, who disclosed that the fresh charges were filed at the FCT High court on Tuesday, also said the earlier filed case of ‘illegal possession of firearms’ against Emefiele will be withdrawn.
