Imo Guber: PDP Ready To Resist Any Forms Of Election Rig

The Imo state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, says any attempt by any political party to rig the November 11 governorship election in the state will be strongly resisted.
According to the PDP, all electoral indicators have shown that it would prevent All Progressives Congress, APC, from winning the election.
Speaking to newsmen on Tuesday in Abuja, the PDP National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, said that Governor Hope Uzodinma and his party, the APC, would not enjoy the support of the citizens of the state in the forthcoming governorship election.
According to him, “The indicators are clear and the November 11, 2023 election will not be different.
“Governor Uzodinma will not win in any polling unit in a free, fair and transparent election because Imo people have found a credible, sincere, humane and approachable leader in Senator Anyanwu.”
He said that the APC knows that it does not have the mandate of the people, stressing that Governor Uzodinma has no visible organic support base in any part of Imo State.
