Legend Thierry Henry Picks Messi As Favorite For Ballon d’Or Award

Former Arsenal and Barcelona legend, Thierry Henry has picked Intermiami Lionel Messi as his favorite to win this year’s Ballon d’Or prize.
Recall that the winner of the award will be announced on Monday, October 30 in Paris.
Messi is the favourite to take home the prize for a record eighth time after leading Argentina to World Cup triumph.
Manchester City striker, Erling Haaland, who scored 52 goals as they won the Treble last season will be the runner-up.
Henry told CBS Sports: “I mean a lot of people can debate that but for me if you win the World Cup, the way he did it, we can talk about what happened in the final.
“As a Frenchman, I was a little bit disappointed with how it finished but you can’t say that it isn’t deserved if he wins it.
“A lot of people can claim that Man City players, Haaland and some other players can also say ‘why not me?’ but you can’t say that it’s not right if he wins it.”
