Serie A: Napoli’s Meluso Denies Osimhen Transfer Rumor

Napoli sporting director, Mauro Meluso has dismissed any rumor concerning the club’s Striker, Victor Osimhen leaving the club in January.
Recall that Osimhen has been linked with a move away from the Serie A champions after the recent row between him and the club.
Osimhen was upset after Napoli’s TikTok posts mocked him for missing a penalty against Bologna.
Napoli was upset when Osimhen returned from the international break with an injury. There is still no agreement on a new contract, fueling speculation about Osimhen’s future.
However, Meluso claimed that there is no chance the Partenopei will allow Osimhen or any of their key player leave in January.“No, no way. Absolutely not,” Meluso said when asked about top players like leaving in January.
“Our squad is very good and we feel relaxed. Of course we can improve it but we will discuss this topic later, ”he added.
The Nigerian striker has registered six goals for Napoli this season.
