Natasha Sworn In As The Authentic Senator Of Kogi Central

The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, has just sworn in Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan as Senator representing Kogi Central, following the declaration by the Court of Appeal.
Abubakar Ohere, the APC candidate, challenged Akpoti-Uduaghan’s victory in the lower court. He lost the case, and appealed the decision at the appellate.
The appellate court, in its judgement, upheld the earlier judgment of the Tribunal.
The tribunal declared Akpoti-Uduaghan of the PDP as the winner of the Kogi Central Senate race, with 54,354 votes. Ohere of the APC received 51,291 votes.
She was administered the oath by the Clerk of the Senate at exactly 11:41 a.m.
