EPL: Benjamin Mendy Claimed Man City Owed Him Wages

According to the Daily Mail, there are reports that Benjamin Mendy, a former Manchester City defender, has taken legal action against the club due to allegations of unpaid wages.
In October 2020, there were allegations made against Mendy stating that he had engaged in non-consensual sexual activity with a 24-year-old woman inside a bedroom at his residence.
Mendy was also charged with the attempted rape of a 29-year-old woman at his home two years before the trial.
These charges led to Manchester City suspending his £100,000-a-week wages in September 2021.
Mendy has now launched a “multi-million-pound claim” against City for wages owed.
Mendy has reportedly filed a claim with the Employment Tribunal, alleging that Manchester City withheld wages from him while his trial was ongoing.
