Kogi Guber: Hold SDP Responsible If Anything Happens To INEC Office – APC Warns
The Governorship Campaign Council of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State is advising the public to hold the Social Democratic Party (SDP) responsible if any unfortunate incidents occur at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) office in Lokoja.
In response to this concern, the APC campaign council is urging security agencies to increase security measures around INEC offices. Mr. Kingsley Fanwo, the Director of Media and Publicity/Spokesperson for the APC campaign council, conveyed these messages in a statement released in Lokoja on Sunday evening.
On the other hand, the SDP, through its Director General of New Media, MuriSam Campaign Council, Mr. Isaiah Ijele, has alleged that there are preparations to set fire to the INEC office.
“It has come to our notice via grave vines that there is an urgent need for security to be beefed around the Kogi INEC office in order to avert the sinister plot to burn down the office by mandate bandits,” said Ijele.
In conclusion, the APC campaign council noted that the party was certain that the Social Democratic Party (SDP) ‘s false claim about an alleged planned attack on the INEC office intended to cover up the party’s evil goal of torching the INEC office and blaming it on the APC.
