BREAKING: Popular Nollywood Actor Is Dead
The veteran Nollywood actor Dejumo Lewis, known for his work in Yoruba-language films, has passed away at the age of 80.
His death was confirmed by his colleague and fellow actor, Saidi Balogun, on social media.
Dejumo Lewis was a respected actor who had a long and successful career in the Nigerian film industry.
Saidi Balogun posted on Instagram, ‘Good night Dejumo Lewis, may your soul rest in perfect peace.’
Lewis will be remembered for his roles in ‘A Place in the Stars’, ‘Crossroads’, ‘Power of 1’ and especially his role as Kabiyesi in ‘The Village Headmaster’.
The cause of his death has not been revealed, but many of his fellow actors have taken to social media to express their condolences and pay tribute to his legacy.
